Hello
I'm Jérémy, i'm from south France
I have a 924 from 1977 that was only running on idle speed from 1995 to 2002, then didn't ran at all till now.
Stocked outside, everything need to be restaured !
Interior completly moisted, seats cracked, dashboard multiple cracked too, bodyframe is in good state but some little shocks all around and a tree branch which fall on the roof and broke the windshield too, the engine need a complete restauration too.
My goal is to give this car all it needed to come back as new as it come from detailer
I'm a mechanic, ending a competition technician education, i'm going to do everything by myself, as musch as i can and a small preparation. Just to give a good health at this engine, that really need some prep
I print some 3D part from SLA, and see that we can have some 3D plans on this forum
Thanks for reading me

It's a project that will take time, so that's understood.
There are several here who have posted progress pictures of major restorations. Here's a great one to look at!

Welcome aboard Jeremy! Definitely post pics and progress on your car. Fun fact: the first person to join Carpokes --@Thom -- is a fellow French countryman and 944 owner! He and I go way back as Internet pals when we discovered that we coincidently built very similar 3 liter 944 turbo engines on opposites sides of the Atlantic!

Hello
I'm Jérémy, i'm from south France.
Along the Italian border, in that case, you are in the best part of France for mountain driving.
Great scenery as I have driven all the passes from Martigny to Nice: St. Bernard, Petit St. Bernard, Vars, Telegraph, Galibier, d'Izoard, Bonette, etc. on a motorcycle of course. A few of my ~240 different passes driven in the Alps & Corsica. Roads to die for.

Lucky you!
I know the 924 well as I worked at VW at the time and I remember the transition from the 914 to the 924
