Last week I got a 'Suspension System Failure' error. My normal shop couldn't figure it out. When I pulled codes, I got 000284 "Control Position Not Adjustable, vehicle to high or too low".

A quick YouTube search of how to fix 000284 pulls up a video of a Canadian talking about when they have a cold snap (like we just had), the suspension may blow a 40 amp fuse and the system fails. A quick check of the fuse shows it's blown...... $4 at Auto Zone and no more suspension failure!

Gifts in small packages that fix a thrown Porsche code and only cost $4 may be a new record. That had to feel good vs some kind of failed pump at several gazillions of $$$. Congratulations!

I wonder how many have taken their car to the dealer and been told their 'watchamagig' needs a $15K fix and they changed a fuse.
