Hello all - after reading up on the risks of stone damage to the radiators in my 991.2, I purchased a set of Rennline grille screens. While some like the look and ease of installation of the types that mount from the outside of the bumper, I preferred the look of these that go inside. My question is for anyone who has installed these, or is at least familiar with the area in front of the radiator with the bumper removed. The screens are surprisingly large as compared to the exterior opening in the bumper so can someone confirm that this is correct ? I don’t want to go through the effort of removing the bumper to find out that they shipped me the wrong parts. I will also likely reach out to Rennline but curious as to what folks here think. It’s a balmy 19 degrees and there are several inches of snow on the ground so I won’t be rushing out to install them anytime soon !

Curious if you heard back from rennline, and if you have installed them, what are your impressions. I did these on a previous 981 Boxster, but the motorized vanes in the 991.2 change the equation such that none of the solutions seem satisfactory to me. Would love to see some pics.

Hi Robbie, I haven’t installed them and I never heard back from Rennline. It’s been pushed down the priority list for me and I may have my bumper repainted while it’s off the car so this may now become a winter project.

If you call Rennline ask for Damien as he has been super helpful to me. I am likely to buy more from them just because he is quite helpful and responds pretty quickly with emails also.
