What A Hidden Gem of a Story

In today's e-Brake news - a link to a Hagerty article about a 'sort of 356', two brothers from behind the Iron Curtain in 1954's East Germany, Ferry Porsche and a remarkable full circle return 70-years later. Talk about audacity, courage, sacrifice for a dream, chutspah, and balls or whatever one wants to call it. Short read that's worth a few minutes. What a different time it was. We can only imagine...

That was a very good read... Yup, talk about some big B***s! I am relatively new to Porsche, so I always enjoy reading about it's history here and there.

What a great story...I had no idea these ever existed and it is fascinating that Ferry Porsche gave them a break. Of course, all of the company lawyers would be on this today faster than a hobo on a ham sandwich.

Amazing brothers and an amazing story. They should make a movie.
