Let's talk Knobs.... PDK & Manual knobs of course

Hey all... Let's show off our knobs

I have a 718 coming soon, with a PDK. Not a huge fan of the fake aluminum look, so looking at options.

I am tempted to do the GT4 RS shifter conversion for the PDK. Looks really slick. Looks really nice with the boot in either leather or Racetex, stitched.

I looked at exclusive options leather wrapped PDK knobs, but the price is kinda bonkers.

Has anyone here changed up their knobs on their 718?

I've considered keeping the PDK knob, but swapping to a leather boot. I don't mind the knob itself, but don't care for the big aluminum 'thing' in the console. Haven't done it yet, this pic is from Suncoast.

I changed my OEM PDK set up to the GT4 RS one with the leather boot restitched in Chalk.

My first step was leather boot (red stitching) and carbon fiber PDK knob.

But, I wound up with the GT4RS knob, which I like so much better!

Normally, when I talk about knobs these are not what I referring to, but I digress. I had short throw linkage added at the same time as the Alcantara red stitched boot and carbon fiber "knob". Love both installations and knobs too, I couldn't resist.

I could have sworn I had seen a GT3 or GT4RS knob with white lettering. Can’t find it now. I have black with red stitching and that yellow lettering ruins it for me. (Maybe not enough to keep me away from it).

But to answer the OP question - many have done it. Get the trim kit, get the appropriate leather or alcantara boot with your color stitching, get the knob. Pretty easy install looks like. Maybe I should make a video on that? Sponsors anyone?

I also heard that white lettering was available but I searched and searched…never found it.
