Cayenne Expectations
And mine... code PRV7B4N1, due to arrive end of May. Configurator doesn't render Cashmere Beige anywhere near correct. I've color corrected this jpg to be as close as I can. Interior is Barrique Red/Black.

Even though you joined almost a year ago, here is a formal "Welcome to Carpokes!" greeting. Thanks for the post!
I just looked at your configuration and that's going to be an awesome color combo and a super nice build too. You're going to love the Cayenne.
Our "S" is on the boat (made it across the Atlantic safely - all good so far in that respect) and due here soon - probably by the first week or so of February. It will be our 3rd Cayenne, following two Turbo models, a 2014 and a 2019, both of which were great vehicles.
Tom is designing some Carpokes license plate mounts for Cayenne's that will be ready soon. Check out the ones he makes for 718's and 911's to get an idea of what they are like, what they do and how they look.

Thanks Tim. Mine is the answer (I hope) to the question, what if you have an Audi S5 cabriolet and a Cayenne Diesel and want one vehicle that's as fun to drive as the S5, can tow as much as the Cayenne, and doesn't burn a lot of gas the 80% of my driving that is running errands?

PS - post pics when you get it. It will be good to see the Cashmere Beige Metallic as it really is. Your color corrected config pic will probably be close. Definitely want to see the interior too which is striking!

I'm interested to hear what tires people are receiving on their new Cayennes. I've chosen 21" wheels, and I'm told the 21" all-season tires that are showing up are Bridgestone, which wouldn't be my first choice. I'm reluctant to select summer tires, because we have cold shoulder seasons in Wisconsin and I don't want to be forced to switch to winter tires for too long.

I'll try to remember to post that when ours arrives. (I'll probably post a few pics so feel free to remind me at that time about the tires if I forget.)RonaTD wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 7:38 pm I'm interested to hear what tires people are receiving on their new Cayennes. Ordered our "S" w/22" wheels and went with summer tires since I already have a 2nd set of 21" winter wheels w/Michelin Alpin 5 SUV "N0" spec tires from the Cayenne Turbo. Winter tires are not really a necessity in TN if one goes with all-season tires but the winter tires are certainly more safe, capable and versatile for winter driving. For this area, their biggest advantage is the increased grip in the cold, even more so if also rain or snow.

We placed our order November 40th, 2023 & were told we are #5 in their back orders and that the wait time for delivery is currently over 12 months. I have read of several reasons why orders are delayed including need for software updates that keeps getting pushed back, port quarenteen for uncertain reasons, and manufacturing delays because of parts being unavailable and especially maybe computer chips from? China…. But it seems that there are no really reliable sources to accurately know the truth
