Larger tires on 18" rims

I'd like to put taller tires on Base Cayenne for look and road ride. A larger circumference will need the speedo adjusted. The car has 255/55 R18 now; thinking about 255/65 R 18. Any thoughts on the idea, and suggested brands?

I would probably suggest looking at changing the tires you are currently using to something that might ride better, though most folks think Cayennes ride quite well. Call the Tire Rack and punch in Ext. 4362 ( Luke Pavlik ) and ask him for his professional opinion. I have known him for 24 years and he was the Wholesale Rep. for the Dealership I worked at , plus he is an autocrosser and trackrat so he is a bit more attuned to performance vehicles than others. He would be a solid professional to ask your question to, but if you want to fill in your wheel wheels more , you might just consider lowering it a bit.
