992 PCM Navigation quirk in CT?

This is for my fellow Connecticut residents who own a 992. I have a '22 911.992 GTS Cabriolet that I purchased in August of last year. My navigation system "voice" says "court" instead of "Connecticut" when describing all (CT) state routes in its navigation instructions. I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem and is there a "fix".

I'll ask my friend - he has a 992 and lives in Guilford.
I can't test since I keep my 992 in Ga and I use Waze not the Porsche system.
It's probably the text to speech algorithm which initiates the quirky pronunciation.
I've notice similar mispronunciations across multiple nav systems.

I don't think it is a "mispronunciation" at all, but rather that the PCM NAV (text to speech) component is determining that Ct, in the NAV context, is an abbreviation for "Court" (like road, lane, street, circle, etc) and not an abbreviation for the State of Connecticut, which is very unfortunate if you live in Connecticut because it's in just about every direction is says.
I just wondered if everyone else is experiencing the same thing (in CT) or is there a "fix" for this problem?

Surely there are many 992.1 owners in Connecticut; am I the only one who is experiencing this Nav System problem? I'd love to know if there is a fix.

Just curious, but have you asked someone who might be qualified to answer that (a good tech or service writer or skilled salesman) at a local (Connecticut) Porsche dealership? At the least they might be able to confirm if this is happening to others.
Also, a call to Porsche will get the ball rolling. While it might take several days or longer, whoever you talk to can escalate the issue so that you can get an answer. 800-PORSCHE (767-7243)

Thanks for your post. My local service rep did not have an answer for me, but did not provide the 800#, so thanks for that as well. I will start there.

I've had good luck calling Porsche's 800 number on the couple of occasions I did so. One call was a question regarding something relatively unimportant that was immediately escalated to Germany. They were polite and followed through, solving what I was seeking.
I don't know how it will go for you but if they don't volunteer to escalate your question as a way of obtaining a proper answer, ask them kindly to do so. (Note that I didn't have to request escalation or follow through - they did it on their own.)
At the initial prompts I selected tech support and the girl I talked to was a "Connect and Charging Specialist" who listened and understood what I was asking. She was great and immediately emailed me with a case number letting me know that my question would be researched. (Connect and Charging would also seem to be where you'd want to go to get your question answered.)
Later that same day I received a second email from a "Connect and Charging Expert" who introduced himself, telling me that my case had been promptly forwarded to their team in Germany. About 10-days later, the issue was answered and corrected. I was impressed as I wasn't expecting that level of action and service, especially for something as minor as I was asking about.
All good!
