944 exhaust gasket DXFs

Tom, move this if it's more appropriate elsewhere...

Anyway, I drew up gaskets for the downpipe and cat-back joints. Whatever exhaust I had used copper gaskets (and wouldn't support the crush rings), but they should fit anything compatible with stock. No idea if they're a better options though :)

Ordering both in 1mm thick copper from Sendcutsend fits just about dead on the $30 minimum.

edit: you'll probably want to anneal them first.

Nice! I may throw it on my mini-CNC router and give it a go. When I get a minute, I'll also update this forum to accept a wider variety of CAD files. All the flat gaskets are a natural for cheap CNC routers. The world needs a repository for them. :)

Definitely one of the times I wished I had better access to a laser or router than I do.

Then I can stop zipping things up? Excellent. If I may suggestion extensions like....f3d, scad, maybe fcstd?

...The world really needs parameterizeable designs and manufacturers who specify critical dimensions, but I digress :P

Just updated the file types you can post in this sub-forum to include dxf, the others you mentioned, and 3MF. To test/prove that, here are your files unzipped.....

I made a downpipe gasket in thin copper this weekend using this dxf file on my little CNC router. Lines up nicely with the stock flange. I may create another for use with 3" downpipes too.

Awesome! Here's the .f3d export with both as plain sketches, idk if that's a good starting point for the 3" downpipes or not.

I do suggest annealing the part before use if you haven't - I brought it up to cherry red on the stove and then let it cool, which seems to have done the trick.
