I am working on a 1960 Roadster, to bring back to stock.
Car is all numbers matching, purchased from a 59 year owner.
Little items need to be dealt with such as correct bolts and screws, adjustments on the doors etc.
Looking for someone that has experience in that area to chat with.

@nwexcop
I'm going to move your post into the "Classic Air-Cooled Cars" sub-forum where it might be more readily seen by fellow 356'rs you're reaching out to.
"The O.K. Corral" sub is fine for a post such as yours and I'll move your post back if that's where you prefer it to be, but I'm hoping more will see it in the air-cooled sub-forum. Plus, you'll get a bump with my post for the Recent Topics sidebar.
PS: I left a shadow topic in "O.K. Corral" that will also remain for a few days.

I just got my 60 Roadster running after 17 years of planning and searching for good pros to do the work. I'm not so concerned about originality as performance, so I've changed cam, P&C, distributor and 4th gear. Snow just left, so I'm putting some miles on to see what else I need (or want) to improve next. Beefing up the stereo this week.
I've been adjusting the door windows to get a better seal with top seal, seems difficult and time consuming.
Your photo looks like a very nice car.

Hi Jim
I am doing well on my Roadster, it had some issues with VW parts being installed vs. Porsche, but I have changed that.
I have two of these 60 Roadsters, this one is VIN XXX808, I also have VINXXX809, so I have some comparisons.
I am in Oregon, where are you located?
John

Hi, John
I'm in Oklahoma City. Your cars look fabulous! Are you in the rainy part of Oregon? Does the Cab"s top seal the water better than the Roadsters? I'm having difficulty having the drivers window roll up, the rubber seal is too tight. I guess I can move the top of the channel inward a little and see if that helps.
I'd like to find a rear view mirror that can flip to reduce the glare of following cars at night.
I park my wipers straight up so the driver's blade doesn't warp and makes better contact when driving in the rain. Got the idea from racing Porsches which park them vertically for less wind resistance.
I'll try to post some pics soon.
Jim
