A GTS Chronicles RETROSPECTIVE: Delivery date in Europe

Continuing my retrospective look into my journey towards Porsche ownership.
Delivery date in Europe (February 2, 2023 - 5 months ago)
"There’s precious little out there, if anything, that’s so intuitive or natural to drive."
Well that was unexpected!
A day after talking about how I needed to fill the time between getting my allocation and knowing when we would actually be going to get our cars, Track Your Dream gets updated and lo and behold:
Experience your European Delivery in Leipzig: 2023-07-20.
Like. For real.
That would make it somewhere around three full years since starting this whole rigamarole. It's like a huge expulsion of breath - even Andrew is feeling it. I think his exact words were, "Yes, feels very real now." Sooner would be even better, as July is when it starts to get busy on the roads over there and you know we want clear twisties.
But who cares???
It's REAL!
And we're going to Germany in July! (and we will just get up super early in the mornings to beat the traffic).
