Staring a thread dedicated to any and all photos of fellow Carpokeans and their rides enjoying on-track exploits.
Doesn't have to be a Porsche (although Porsches will retain the seat of honor). Doesn't even have to have 4-wheels. Could be in the paddock. On jack stands bleeding the brakes or making repairs. On the trailer. Anywhere a track's involved! (Right side up preferred

)
Let's see those beauties taken by the many underappreciated and hard working track photographers - and others. Don't be shy! (And credit the photographers if you know who they are!)

I know, these two pics already posted on the 718 Photos thread. They were handy so I'm using them again to jump-start the thread.

Your 718 looks great!! And your number sets are slick looking too! (Mine are drab.)
And yes, Road America is one of the best - another huge track that is so much fun to drive - it just goes on and on and on...
I love the whole area - Elkhart Lake is soooo cool too!
I'd love to get back up there as I think the GT4 would be a lot of fun on Rd Am.
Thanks much for posting the pics Karri. I am hoping we can get others to post their track pics here - I know there are a ton of out there in Carpoke Land.

Welcome Tim! Thanks for starting this thread!
Elkhart Lake really is a cool area, wish I had more time to explore. RA was a fun track. Even for my first DE, it wasn’t intimidating. A GT4 would be a blast!
I’ve got two more track days scheduled this year and plan on dipping my toes into auto-x next year…hope others post here too

Polecat - PTC from April 2022. The laps are fantastic there. With 19 turns in 2.1 miles it's busy but always a lot of fun.

This was from my first NCM event back in May. I must say this one will be on the rotation again next year! My best lap time for the weekend was 2:24.82

That's great to hear! I take it from one of your Carpokes posts a year or so ago that you might be part of the Smoky Mtn Region PCA which would put you in the Knoxville area if that's the case.
If you were at NCM in April '22, I'm guessing it was with either Chin or MVP, both excellent DE organizers.
We need to meet up at NCM next time you attend. I've been there many times and continue to go there often. I was at the very first DE at NCM when the track first opened about 9-years ago and I love the place - great laps. They are slowly getting the control tower and other facilities rebuilt from the severe tornado damage that occurred late Dec 2021. It was bad as you probably saw when you were there last year.
If you haven't seen them already, I have a set of track day spread sheets I compile every year covering our part of the country. This year's had over 200 events. I post them on Carpokes so check 'em out. They are sorted three ways - by date, by organizer and by track. Makes it easy to spend your money!

Let me know next time you head to NCM or Barber or anything else in our area.
You might want to try PTC (Polecat) someday too. Super fun 19 turn in 2.1 miles track that is well-suited for Caymans. Good elevation changes and more.

It's out in the sticks between Lynchburg and Fayetteville. Fantastic fun. (I posted a couple of 1-lap videos on Carpokes.)

You need to come back our way! NCM, Barber, PTC, Rd Atlanta, AMP and more. So many great tracks to play on!

I am a member of SMT but I am in Greeneville. Knoxville is about a hour and a half from me.
I was at NCM Memorial Day weekend with 10/10ths. That was the first time running with them. They put on a great event and I am already planning to run with them again next year.
My group will be at Barber the weekend of 9/22 with the Alabama region. Are you registered for that event?
I have never heard of PTC but it does look very promising! There is still a chance that we will run RA the weekend before Thanksgiving as long as the weather cooperates.
I am glad I found this section on the forum! I did see your spreadsheets and those are awesome! Thanks for taking the time to put that together.
