While it was fun to load up my wife's new 2023 Cayenne S Coupe with a long list of factory options, the fun continues with the aftermarket modifications. In the first two weeks of ownership here are some of the mods:

- XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF (full front)
- XPEL Prime XR Plus Nano ceramic window tint (35% driver's and passenger's side windows, 70% windshield)
- Ceramic coating rims (faces and barrels)
- Pro clip cell phone holder
- Radenso DS-1 radar detector and BlendMount
- Lamkin-X Charcoal film to cover amber side markers (markers still function when lights are on)
- Trailer hitch cover bling (I volunteer as an EMT)

The next mod was not Cayenne specific, but was necessitated by the arrival of the Cayenne and my wife's desire to keep her new car in the garage. On Friday, I will have a 4 post lift installed in the garage, as well as raising the garage door rails to the ceiling, and I will replace the traditional garage door openers with the Liftmaster torsion tube side mount openers.

I decided to go with the Atlas Pro 8000 XLT. It is a 8000 lb capacity extra tall lift. I considered the Backyard Buddy and Advantage lifts too. For my use (primarily to store my wife's 2013 Boxster S), the Atlas was sufficient. The installer recommended the XLT model to be able to fit the Cayenne underneath if I ever need to since I have the ceiling height in my garage. In practice, I will store my new daily driver (an incoming 2023 AMG SL55) under the Boxster. My wife can use the other 2 bay part of the garage to park her Cayenne with plenty of room around her  .

That's awesome, congrats on the lift!! Looks very similar to my Bendpak. Is it bolted to the ground or free floating? The Bendpak documentation was all over the map on whether it was ok to leave it free standing, so we opted to bolt it down to keep it from walking around in an earthquake, but leaving the bolts loose enough so that the posts could settle as needed when the lift goes up and down.

The installer said to keep it free floating. One of the features of the Atlas lifts are removable casters for each corner that allow you to roll around the lift when you lower the lift onto the caster to raise the post off of the ground.
