Thursday we took the Cayman to pick up a few bottles of wine. About 150 miles round trip to the winery, in the rain. (Gasp!)
Then I washed it today.
Then I washed it today.

I painted a dozen mode dial covers for the 718. Does that count?

I went to the track today. Got back a short while ago. The car is still as it was before but the tires are shot. I'm dead tired. (Well, just tired. Not yet dead.)
Received a call on the way home - I have an allocation for a 4RS. Decision time. Kind of scary.

Absolutely! As long as the post is about “you” and “718.”blueline wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 7:23 pm I went to the track today. Got back a short while ago. The car is still as it was before but the tires are shot. I'm dead tired. (Well, just tired. Not yet dead.)

Hope it was a great day at the track, and glad you and the car are home safe and sound (tires notwithstanding). Very exciting news about the GT4RS allocation!! I vote that you get it.blueline wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 7:23 pm I went to the track today. Got back a short while ago. The car is still as it was before but the tires are shot. I'm dead tired. Well, my opinion is that if you do a fair amount track days (and it sounds like you do), and you can afford it, it'd be hard not to go for it.
Me, I don't hit the track often at all, and couldn't afford a 4RS even if I did. So I refuse to be jealous...
