Reading in today's paper, the EU has decided no ICE vehicles will be built after 2035, although it's unclear if that means totally or just for EU consumption. There is also an exclusion for those vehicles that will burn "carbon-neutral" fuels. I'm assuming that includes the pertol-free fuel Porsche is developing.
So this seems to say all 911's produced after 2035 will likely be electric. Not that I'm too concerned, I'll be driving an electric scooter in the nursing home by then, but I'm sad for my grandchildren.
Personally I believe these decisions will almost surely be reversed to some degree when reality and the laws of physics and economics take firm hold, but that's just my opinion.
Better hang on to your gas burner
