Hi everyone!

It’s a later 85. It belonged to a friend of mine that passed away. He was a past regional NEO PCA president and did track days and autox with it back in the day. Unfortunately it has sat since 1998 and some of that time was outdoors. My daughter and I are starting with some simple jobs for her as she helps me clean the fuel tank and replace the hoses. Belts and water pump are after that.

Not sure how I missed your intro post and the great starting-off pics of the latest project you've taken on, but no matter - responding now!

25-years is one heck of a long time for a car to sit, and the outdoors part of that time certainly compounds the work ahead, but nice to see it getting underway. Your friend would appreciate it, I'm sure.

By the way, nice '57. Also, it's good to see a Father-Daughter project on a Porsche no less!

Keep us in the loop as work progresses!

Thanks.

The 57 belongs to a friend. A bunch of us share garage space in the old Stoddard Porsche building.

Looks like there is plenty of room to work, which is great!

It has a way of filling up.

I've never figured out how inanimate, non-living things can accumulate when no one is around.

More good pics and nice cars John! Thanks for sharing them!
