I'll admit that started vintage racing in a Ford Mustang. It was more affordable.

And then the big wreck happened at Road America.

No one was injured. The Camaro that won the best restored car the night before is under all the cars. It went from best to zero in 10 seconds.

I still own a Ford GT350 with a Porsche Carrera:

I drove a lot of miles from here to Road America, Watkins Glen, and then south to Road Atlanta and Sebring.

My most entertaining race was at Sebring in a 3-hour enduro. It was 70 cars in a balls on fire race:

It was a few different classes as to points. It was fast cars, and I qualified in the rear.

This was me before the driver change (we had radio's):

There is nothing like the adrenalin rush when racing seventy guys in a race (it paid no money). It was a vintage race.
