Was wondering if anyone here has resealed a rear hatch frame? The frame has come loose from the glass. Going to make this a winter project. ImageImage

I did mine about 2 years ago - just resealed the top part of the frame. I used 3m window weld to seal it and then put a bunch of ratchet straps on it for 3 weeks. Still in good shape but I never close it with the lifts connected.

I took mine to an auto glass shop, and they did basically the same thing... They only let it sit overnight, but same idea.

I haven’t done it but I second the 3M Window Weld method. I’ve head good things and seems to be cost and DIY friendly. Luckily my rear glass is still looking good but this is on my radar.

I’ve also heard good things about the transaxle carrier fill with the same product. I will bring doing this in the near future.
