No, not 944GTR. Here's the deal:

Most are aware of the 924 D/P racecar the factory and Al Holbert developed in '79-'80. The original factory engine had a slick MFI system that SCCA did not approve, so the engine ended up with Weber carbs. The MFI system had two different throttle bodies available and all this stuff ended up on shelves.

Porsche and Holbert then viewed SCCA C/P around 1982 using their new 2.5L 944 engine. Several prototype 944 engines were sent to US racers like Holbert and Dave Finch for domestic development. Along with these engines, Porsche sent these runners so the 924 ITB's could be used on the 2.5. Those in the photos came from Holbert, but I've never seen them in use.

I have two sets that could be used for either 944 2V NA ITB's, or for NA or turbo applications with a fabricated plenum. They're a nice example of obscure prototype 944 Porsche race parts.

Just out of curiosity, did these turn up because of the Holbert 924 that listed on Bring a Trailer recently? I didn't know much of anything about this history of these cars, but got some of it from Doc Bundy at Watkins Glen recently.

These runners had nothing to do with the GTR on BAT. I got them many years ago from a stash that came from Holbert's shop. I also got one of the prototype 944 2.5 engines that ended up in someone's track car. The prototype engine was nothing special, and not prepped for racing.

Gotcha, crazy coincidence (to me), given the schooling I was given by Doc so recently.
