Maybe I am thinking of a different one, sorry, but can you post a pic or link to it? Just looked, is this it?

If so, the Black does not match since it is Gloss, and we agreed the Red and Blue do not match anything. That is why popping off the OEM bezel and painting it Satin Black is the best for keeping it OEM-looking.
The Amazon seller description says “matte.” The actual product looks a little more satin. Definitely not gloss. Regardless, I don’t think it will fit over the 718 bezel.

Yeah, there is very little clearance around the OEM bezel so if it fits I am sure it would stick out.

Success! Tom made 4 different ones for me to try and they all fit well but I selected the one that was easiest to get on and off. He will use this to start working on the hood/eyelid to eliminate the Sport Chrono windshield reflection at night:

That's what I'm talking about! If you end up with a yellow hooded version and wanted to make it yellow all the way to the glass, we could add a little lip on the inside so eliminate that black ring between the yellow and the glass. On the other hand, it kind of looks cool that way. Also, but installing the hooded version, watch this space for something entirely different.

IMO, the black part that separates the yellow gauge dial and the yellow bezel is the way to go. It looks great! Matches the black numbers and the black analog clock hands.

After numerous iterations here is the bezel I decided on for my 718 Spyder...love it and how it should have come from the factory! Thanks Tom!

Not to be a buzz kill, especially since I’m the OP on this thread, but Amazon sells blue, red and black bezels. The seller claims they fit all sports chronos but, based on what we know, I doubt it. I bought a black one and it arrived today. It looks very well made but I won’t know if it will fit my 718 GTS 4.0 until the car arrives - eta late November. I doubt I’ll use it but it was very inexpensive so what the heck.

No, I gave up on that idea since the hood needs to be 2 1/2" long, as shown in earlier pics in this thread, so I went with the best looking one, especially since I do not drive much after dark.
