Its good to see Hamilton and Verstappen at the head of the pack again.

The rumors of Max heading to McLaren are really heating up . And some in the RB ownership group are frustrated that Max hasn't committed to additional years on his current contract . I read an article today that said the backers of the McLaren F1 team have assured Zak Brown that paying Max's rumored salary of 60 - 100 million per year is not an issue .

So let's see if Zak can pull off the mega deal . If he does Oscar Piastri will be out . Shame as he's a good driver and guy . F1 is a brutal business .

Waiting to see today if there is a bit of a shake up with the standings since Antonelli has to start from the rear with some engine management changes?! Even more surprising is having Gasly on the Pole....................today is going to be very interesting and I expect many of us will be anticipating that Monza will be a wild one.

Should be very interesting -lots of pressure on Ferrari of course after a disappointing quali. Interesting clip of Toto smashing his screen when Gasly made pole!

19th to 1st, it is not hard to imagine that we are seeing another driver for the ages in Kimi Antonelli. At age 20 he is very likely to be the 2026 World Champion, though many of us have seen last minute changes over the past 3-4 decades. It should be interesting to see if this is the next driver folks will say is in another league, since it was common for folks to state Hamilton was the last great driver and then along came Verstappen. Now with Kimi are we seeing another change of the guard and if so who will be in the wings to jump forward to challenge him. I will admit that I have a hard time listening to those who do not think F1 is exciting, because the passing and drama is frankly at an all time high imho. Gasly on the pole inna superb drive with a vehicle not on par with the top 4, was a special highlight for the legendary track at Monza.
