Not much about BoP makes sense, that's for sure.

It was. I have yesterday's replay of the Pilot Challenge going on one TV and today's live 24 on another while trying to do chores and other work at the same time, so it's kind of marginal viewing on my part. Glad for recaps!

Here we are at 5:30 in the morning and the Porsche GTP's have survived the night stint well . Number 01 Cadillac is out . Both BMW's have had issues . The number 10 Acura has issues . So as daylight starts in a bit the real race will begin . Who has the best tire strategy ? Who has the best race pace ? With over 8 hours still to go its anyone's race to win .

I found the interview yesterday with Scott Pruett interesting . I watched a good part of his career on TV . What I didn't know is how successful he was at Daytona . Between class and overall he won 17 Rolex watches !!!!! That is just crazy .

...............and he has some pretty outstanding Wines from his Vineyard too. I had to laugh at the interview because , as in the past , before he answered anything he led with his well known statement, " Hi to my family at home." Like 996C438 I followed his career with interest and I had to chuckle when he began his interview with his standard phrase.

PS - his wines are on the pricey side , but I enjoyed a bottle with a friend years back as it was in his collection. I am more a connoisseur of Mogen David or Boones Farm, ha!

From my days as a little kid I'll always remember my Grandmother from Indianapolis (born sometime in the latter part of the 19th century!) who always had a sip of Mad Dog at Thanksgiving.

So true on Scott Pruett's standard opening line. I think he's probably very accomplished in everything undertaken in his life.

I actually love a good Cabernet, but I will admit to being one who will buy wines in the 10-20 dollar range as my palate is apparently not sophisticated enough to go bananas over those $50-100 bottles. Had a few, over the years and found I enjoyed my cheaper stomped grapes just as well. I will admit , though, the bottle from Pruett's vineyard was stellar!
