When I saw the KLA version that attaches to the seat belt mountings, TBH I thought other than stabilising the hatch opening, it wasn't actually going to do much. That's why I mounted mine lower in the shell. And made it out of steel rather than aluminium. I expect Seth could make the same, for anyone that doesn't use the rear seats.
