Good morning,
I am a new member here, and my name is
Pierre
Saint Lazare, Quebec, Canada
Bought my first Porsche in 1986, a new Black-on-Black 944 Turbo, which was the first 944 Turbo delivered in Montreal that year at a dealer called Auto Hammer for then-$53,800 CAD.
After a few years of racing cars, I am now an instructor at UCR PCA in Ontario, Canada, I had a 2010 Standard shift 997 S (sold a few years back) - a 1988 Turbo S (Silver Rose) (just sold) - a 2022 718 GT4 (just sold), and just purchased a Black on Black with red pin-stripping and red callipers 2023 992 GT3.
Just placed an order here for the 992 License plate bracket. Hopefully, that order will come through shortly.
Hi Pierre! Welcome to Carpokes!!
Wonderful Porsche background that also includes one of my favorite things - tracks and racing.
Love your 992 GT3 - the subtle red wheel lips are striking and good looking! Thanks for posting the pic and joining up with this friendly, fun group of Carpokians.
By the way, the license plate mounts from Tom and Carpokes are awesome. You'll especially love them if you happen to track the GT3 as they make removing and re-installing your rear plate a breeze!

Blueline thank you for the warm welcome and comments. Yes, can't wait for the licence plate mount, but have not received any feedback from Tom on the order since I sent in my order by email. Hopefully, I'll get the PAYPAL link to get it paid and sent off to me shortly.

Hmmm... I'll look for it now. Sorry if I missed it! Been fighting AI Bots and server issues all week.

Welcome to Carpokes in the meantime!! [Edit: I misunderstood and thought I missed your email, but now see that you just sent it this morning. Just replied and sent an invoice.]

Did you ever get to race at Mont Tremblant, or just cruising around St Sauveur?
Love the area and the people. Some fun back roads around St. Sauveur.
Very attractive GT3!
Welcome to CARPOKES and thank you for joining!

Yes, raced Tremblant numerous times in various forms try to go up at least once a year to an invitational that's been around for years, called Bob's Day in remembrance of Bob Rouleaux, our chief instructor at Rennsport PCA for years.
Here is a picture of me and my late partner, Geoff Bennett, on the wall, waiting at the false grid (Tremblant, circa 1978). I am in the racing overalls sitting on the rock wall beside my car, a red FIAT at the time preped by Raymond Tagliani, Alex Tagliani's father (CART/NASCAR), and Geoff who is to my left beside his black Triumph. This was in a racing group called Production GT2/GT3 in CASC racing.
