Full exterior ppf - what issues to ask about please

Just had a full PPF (Stek) on new to me Spyder (minus existing front from previous owner). Very reputable owner in my area, prices a tad higher but still in line with most others. I have tinted windshield + windshield PPF.

I was hesitant on the latter but was decided to be a guinea pig for the installer (with a discount) for steks' new "DYNOtop" windshield PPF. The previous "DYNOflex" I was told had big problems with haziness in the film internally (not external). One big thing is: try not to use wipers as much as possible as initial dry rubber going on top of plastic = for sure problems

The installer said he makes lambo & similar owners sign a disclaimer that distortion could be VERY bad due to the angle of the windshield. In my experience (< a week) definitely distortion going on and added additional lens flare effect from oncoming cars. Though my other half (being shorter) doesn't really notice the distortion much as she sits lower so I'm sure the viewing angle does a big part. I was told Spyder/Speedsters also have a slightly steeper angle windshield that makes it worse, but not sure about that. Time will tell.

Have Stek on my Cayman and I really like the shine it has over the 3M and Xpel. I have had all three, now, and so far the Stek seems to be the easiest to clean off track goobers and clagg ( or OPR as many of us call it ). Bugs also seem to wipe off with less effort. I plan on trying their windshield protector after I get a new windshield since I got a nice chip the very first month of ownership, followed by two more since. Two came from cars passing from the opposite direction and it seems the car is a magnet for rocks!
