Even cheaper than I remembered

Another hint on dashcams - at least for those with a BlackVue and a Escort 360 but possibly others:

If you mount them close together, the WiFi on the BlackVue will set off the detector when the WiFi is turned on. I have the dashcam mounted as high as possible behind the rearview mirror with the detector on a Blendmount looking out just beneath it.

To fix this, just set the dashcam to default to WiFi off; then only use the WiFi when you absolutely need it to change settings or download a video clip.
