This doesn't qualify for big travel, just a part-day cruise in the hilly areas to the east of us in north-central Tennessee. (Do we need a separate "Cruise Day" thread? I might poll for one.)

Took the Turbo S for a roughly 200 mile drive on quiet country roads that intertwine the many unpopulated rural areas of hilly Tennessee. Lots of small unincorporated towns throughout and no traffic to speak of.

Regarding Middle TN, the hills to the north, north-east of Nashville are larger than those to the south of the Metro area. Actually, there are lots and lots of hills of all sizes in Tennessee from the smallest to the mountainous ones in the Great Smokies, all with plenty of 2-lane country roads. It's a wonderful state!

Didn't take pics as we never stopped driving except for lunch in Carthage at Ebel's Tavern. There is plenty to photograph - will do that next time!

Meanwhile, here's one pic out the window while driving (very slowly!) on a non-road car path looking down at a small bit of Cordell Hull Lake, a fisherman's paradise.

We went to Yellowstone this Fall to honor my poor cousin Tom, who in his pursuit of Bigfoot met a terrible end. The footprints of this horrible monster are still encapsulated in the bubbling earth, and the memorial of Tom is adjacent for all to view his horrible fate!

Behold the frightening figure of Tom, only partially eaten and regurgitated before he attempted to run away, only to have the toxic gases near the bubbling pools of Old Faithful, petrifying him into a woodland pose reminiscent of the Heisman Winner's stance!

PS - look closely and you might even see his tongue sticking out in his terror and exertion!
