The DMV paperwork and registration finally came through, so I can take off the temporary paper plates from the dealership.

Rivnuts seem better than just screwing into the bumper plastic.

Very nicely done!

Of course, there are also these from our illustrious Carpokian founder which don't require any holes whatsoever. ;)

This thread is a bit quiet lately, likely the thread has gone away on summer vacation. :D

Today I had a new set of Bridgestone Potenza RE71RS installed on my track wheels. Same 255/285/35/19 as I have had the last 4 sets. It works! I highly considered the Vitour P1s but was not ready to try something new I guess when I don't have a complaint with the current.

I have 6 track days booked in the next 6 weeks, problem with that is these tires will last me 5 or 6 days. The last two days are at Lacuna Seca and I don't want to show up with worn out tires.

Had an alignment a few days ago. I added shims in the lower control arms on my front LCAs as well as adjustable toe links on the rear since my last alignment, I was hoping for -3.2 front and -2.8 rear. That did not work out. I ended up at -3.3 and -2.6 with the rear eccentrics maxed out. I see I will need GT3 style control arms in the rear as well. Project for later, will see how this set wears and judge what my next step is.

Sold my M2 Competition. Hadn’t driven it in almost year as was just stored. Kline OAP and exhaust installed on my Boxster. Love the sound.

I did something similar except replaced rivnuts by drilling holes and installing automotive grade plastic inserts on all my cars.

Let’s see some photos of newly delivered 2025 718s. You’re the last of the breed of old school, non-GT, NA ICE Porsches.

We have a thread in the Racing sub for posting track videos. It's been a bit neglected lately , so would be great to get some new ones there.
