Wem, How much of the vinyl did you order? The smallest I could find on Amazon is a roll 5ft by 1ft - that seems huge considering the small amount needed for the steering wheel stripe.

Hi Rich, I'll answer while you wait for wem, but I think what you've found is what he got from Amazon - a 1ft x 5ft roll for $11. Look at the first post on this thread. (wem is the OP.) It does seem rather large but it's a wrap, not tape, so the wide width kind of makes sense to me.

Depending on the color u can often get small “sample” sizes e.g. 3”x6”

Correct, it was a 1ft x 5ft roll. I checked Amazon a moment ago. The roll is still under $11. It is a lot of material, but it is pretty cheap considering many manufacturers charge several hundred dollars for the factory steering wheel stripe. Also with the roll, you can experiment with different widths and the amount of stretch to make it look perfect. The best install will have a little overlap and the end of the stripe should terminate at the bottom. I put a tiny drop of crazy glue on the end to ensure it wouldn't lift (it never lifted).

Just added Shark blue stripe to mine - 1/4” pinstripe tape is perfect !!!!
