Did that MAP sensor come with the MAF from Vitesse? There are 5v and 12v versions of those GM-style map sensors, and I believe Vitesse has used both over the years, so you want to make sure you are using the right one. As for as I can tell, Rogue only used the 5v.
Yes, it is the sensor that came with the MAF.Tom wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 3:28 pm Did that MAP sensor come with the MAF from Vitesse? But that’s an interesting point, since I’m using the Rogue one.

Yeah, I wondered about that since the wire leads seemed unused on the picture you posted. As best I can tell, VR went from 12v to 5v over the years, but even within the 5v MAPs, there's no guarantee the output voltage curve is the same.944m3 wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:09 pmYes, it is the sensor that came with the MAF.Tom wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 3:28 pm Did that MAP sensor come with the MAF from Vitesse? Is this still available? Very interested in it. Following on that injector question, any problem you think using 80 lb injectors on a street car (idling, etc.)
I tried to PM you but my message is stuck in Outbox for some reason.
I’ve ended up using the intake snorkel of the MAF kit with my standalone. I would have to come up with a replacement as I don’t want to go back to the stock air box and snorkel. Unfortunately I can’t find anything to replace it with.
I’ve also started to think of using the MAF sensor with my standalone for idle and MAP for boost. This would just be for fun and curiosity. I’ve read that you can have the best of both worlds. My ECU supports MAF.
But if anyone knows of a cheap and easy replacement for the MAF snorkel, I’ll consider it. But for now I cant sell the kit anymore.
