Will you use one or two knock sensors?

Getting trigger sync issues spoke too soon guessing i need to order a sensor bracket with the integrated sleeve .
Also getting a new sensor.
Currently running a Notched bellhousing . At this point i am getting so much noise on the trigger . Tried signal correction to high but seems it did not do the trick.
Maybe i have to move the trigger to the front after all

No trigger issue on my side with the stock 16V sensor layout, with one sensor then and a notched bellhousing, FWIW.

The seller said he has sold allot of these and told me that I am the first to mention/complain about this.
@Thom what gap are you running?
Sure you don't have the sensor bracket with the integrated sleeve?

Running stock gap. I didn't even need to recheck the gap when replacing the stock flywheel with the TTV 60-2 unit. I can't remember if I have the sleeve, but I would guess so.

I guess this is a oversight from my part. It's a well documented issue.
When I bought the 16v engine it did not come with this bracket I took the bracket of one of my 1986 turbo engines guess that bracket is the old unshielded piece .

eBay is full of these brackets so I have bought the correct piece with the integrated sleeve and a new sensor. Hopefully this will resolve my issue.

Interesting. I never paid attention to this variation on the 8V sensor bracket.
I'm pretty sure the 16V speed sensor bracket is like the later style 8V, without an additional sleeve.

This is the S/S2 part of course only one sensor because propper 60-2 and not the Goofy 8v setup. Looks like Porsche learned from their mistake in 1987
