It took a lot of time and effort. Frankly, I probably was out of my mind, but it became an obsession there were times when I actually wondered whether I was gonna finish….

Not a 944, but I used Oil Eater and a brush to clean the under side of my 82 911SC. It helps if you have a lift. I put a plastic on the floor and spread some oil dry to collect all the dirt and liquid.

I used oil eater as well. I forgot all about that. I believe they used to sell it at Costco, but I don’t think they sell it anymore anymore. By the way, its available on Amazon, like most things these days....also Grainger, Tractor Supply (big in Tn), Eastwood, some auto parts stores....etc....
