Not a 944, but I used Oil Eater and a brush to clean the under side of my 82 911SC. It helps if you have a lift. I put a plastic on the floor and spread some oil dry to collect all the dirt and liquid.

I used oil eater as well. I forgot all about that. I believe they used to sell it at Costco, but I don’t think they sell it anymore anymore. The stuff is great for sure.!!!

IMPRESSIVE!I THANKS for sharing the photos and comment about Oil Eater...probably safer than gasoline!
By the way, its available on Amazon, like most things these days....also Grainger, Tractor Supply (big in Tn), Eastwood, some auto parts stores....etc....
