I have these tires and I think they're great. Maybe not as good in the rain as the Michelin PS4's I had but I found them comparable in the dry. Best of all, the Conti's are way less expensive.

Have them on my 997.2 and had them on a 981 GT4 that I just sold. I think they're great and priced right too.

Just had them priced out locally at Discount tire and they were $60 cheaper a tire for the rears. Had them on my M3 and loved them. Ive only had Michelins on the 911 - maybe ill wait until my fronts wear out then make the switch…

For those of you who want something that is a bit more aggressive and more track capable if that is your desire , check out the Extreme Contact Force. Sign up with Trackdaytire.com and they often have strong discounts if you do HPDEs, or other track events.

Lots of folks in the DMV area run Conti’s during the winter. I run them on my 911 Targa 4S and they perform well. Also ran them in a previous BMW X5. Great tire!

I’ve tried Goodyear Assurance, Michelin Pilot Sport, Bridgestone Potenza, Continental Extreme Contact Sport and currently running ATLAS UHP (Ultra High Performance) on a wider size. As I recall, the Conti’s I purchased at Discount Tire and were cheaper than other “sport” tires at the time. The set performed well until they started to wear (they didn’t last as long as I expected) and they don’t do well in the rain so I decided to try tires with a higher UTQG code for longer life. In my opinion, expensive tires are great if you can afford them, but new tires are always better than old ones.

Solid tire ( Sport 02 ) for those wanted mileage and decent grip, though if one is looking for something more aggressive for the track or autocross, there are better choices. That said, some folks have found it a decent tire for endurance racing/HPDEs and the ride quality and low noise rank it right at the top! It does have the advantage on a road course of staying consistent and close to being as fast as a 200 TWR tire , while staying consistent throughout a run.

Tires have been great on road and track………done / chunking on outside fronts / after about 6 or 7 track days……..used to get a lot more days out of the Hankook (RS4s?)………new car to me so trying to find the right 19 inch set up.
