That means that your 718 should be arriving at your dealership by the 2nd or 3rd week of January, correct?

In a perfect world, yes. However, it's getting dropped off in Halifax, which is pretty much al the way across Canada, so I am most likely looking at the end of Jan.

Geeez that is a cross continent trip from where you are. No matter, the excitement still builds!

I thought the whole build process for my 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 was fascinating. Getting status coms from Porsche, and then the baby pics was really cool. Almost immediately wanted to order another one. Fortunately (unfortunately?) my financial advisor keeps saying NO!

The Cayenne was loaded on the Amethyst Ace and has left Emden for its journey across the Atlantic. Arrival at its first stop at the Port of Davisville (RI) is Jan18th before continuing the voyage to an eventual stop in Houston where our new Porsche is to be unloaded.
If using Porsche's TYD, once the vehicle has been loaded on the boat, you can get the ship's name from your dealer and then follow it somewhat across the Atlantic using MarineTraffic.com or MyShipTracking.com among others.
