things got real spicy when the rain came in, pure chaos. i can't believe there were no red flags or that the final top 3 remained the same even with all the weather drama.
Rain sure does have a way of radically altering the playing field and throwing tire/pit stop strategy into disarray, especially that kind of rain. Is the rain going to stay or is just going to pass through quickly? Heavy or light? Does part of the course gets soaked while another area stays relatively dry?
I can only imagine the back and forth lightening fast conversations and disagreements from those running the teams about what should or shouldn't be done. Strategy and decision making with the ensuing right or wrong choices!

Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya coming up this weekend. (Live Sunday morning on ESPN.)
Autoweek questioning whether any team other than Red Bull wins an F1 race this season. Article headline(s):
"Max Verstappen Says It's 'Very Unlikely' Red Bull Goes Unbeaten." "Two-time champion Verstappen, Sergio Perez have helped Red Bull to a perfect 6-for-6 so far."

i think it is very likely RB wins most of the races this year.
i also think it is highly unlikely they win them all. no F1 car is bulletproof, at some point they will have mechanical issues, get into an accident with another car, or crash. that only needs to happen when the other is also having a not so great race.

I agree. No matter what happens, it's going to be interesting seeing how it plays out!

I think RB wins them all. This is a mismatch of epic proportions. RB is sandbagging

Another day, another F1 race, another win by Verstappen - this one at today's Spanish Grand Prix.
Mercedes did seem to solve some of their 2023 season woes however, finishing 2 - 3, although never pressuring the winning Red Bull car. Perez finished 4th in the second RB car.

From Autoweek:
"Max Verstappen led every lap for the third consecutive race on his way to the win at the F1 Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday June 18, 2023."
That's six wins out of eight starts so far this season for Verstappen..

one good thing about Red Bull winning everything is that it sure cut down on the level of whining coming from them..... just saying.

If I'm not mistaken, whining is a requirement for F1 teams, right?
