No known problems on my old 991.2 or my new 992.... Of course, if they go bad, I assume they will do so at 4 years and 1 day; or at 50,000.1 miles, whichever comes first.

Bite your tongue, That's just bad mojo to talk that way. I'm entering year 6 with my GT3.
I forgot I first had the dynamic mounts on my 997.2 GT3. (Another car I wish I still had....)

I lost a PADM mount on my 15K mile 2015 991.1. Given the relatively high failure rate and the expense of the factory part, I replaced both mounts with aftermarket urethane mounts. My dealer could not code out the dash alert. The urethane mounts were fine with the exception of minimal NVH between 2K-3K RPMs.
Recently I saw a post about a replacement sensor/harness from Zuffenparts.com. The new part addresses what was cited as the significant root cause of failure- magnetic liquid contamination of the electronics. I took a flyer and bought the part ($240 all in). When I tore apart my failed mount (DIY as I turn a wrench at times), there was visible fluid contamination. I replaced the harness/sensor. Success! The mount functions (best I can tell on public roads), the alert is gone, and the NVH issue eliminated. Reply if you want more info.

Rennline has after market mounts that cost a fair bit less -sorry, can’t remember how much, but they have 3 settings and seem to be fine. I have mine on the middle of the three and I get what feels like an extra little tingle on start up and low speed driving which is mostly kinda nice I feel. As said above, your shop would have to re-programme but that’s minor.
I’ve no hesitation recommending them both on the basis of cost AND the fact that replacement factory ones may well quit again anyway and cost you even more in the future…

@irishbirdman I installed the Rennline mounts after pulling my PADM mounts. I could not find a shop to code out the in-dash alert (tried both a dealer and an indy). Rennline mounts were fine but with the softest inserts, I did notice some slight drivetrain vibrations between 2K-3K RPMs. Once I was able to repair the failed OEM PADM mount and re-installed it, the vibration vanished. I’ll add I have over 6,500 miles on the updated PADM (OEM) mount and it’s been flawless.

More often than not if the mount isn't actively leaking the sensor has failed. It can be replaced, but must be removed to do so. This is the link I have saved for when mine inevitably fail.
