Sorry - I'm confused and/or completely missing something. Is the goal with this change to make the PDK shifter look like the 6-speed manual w/shifter boot? If so, did the original PDK shifter in your GTS look like mine?

I think I figured it out. The GT4RS has a style like what you've changed yours to. Is that what newer ('22, '23 models?) 718 GTS and GT4s have too?

A little slow tonight but I got it (I think). This is what the configurator is showing for GTS, GT4 and GT4-RS. It does look good as does your upgrade.

When I look at the configurator I only see the upgraded MT - look PDK shifter for the GT4 RS, not for the GTS nor the GT4

I thought it was the same for all three but I may have seen what I wanted to see and not what was there! I'll take another quick look.

I was wrong Larry. Sorry. Bad eyes and a creaky brain. Also, the configurator for the GT4 RS is a bit confusing.

On the GT4 RS configurator page, for some odd reason, it lists both GT4 and Spyder under the picture showing the MT look shifter. However, further down it also lists the GT4 RS and in the text description for the 4RS are these words: "...GT-specific gear selector..." A bit confusing - the new configurator needs some fine tuning.

So, from the factory that shifter is unique to the GT4 RS. I guess they need a few things like that to justify the rather steep price increase over a GTS or a GT4.

No website editor. Very confusing.

John @Leader generously gave me a black leather shift boot with dark grey stitching. Currently, Suncoast only sells the GT4 RS shifter with dark stitching. @Crazy Eddie would you be able to have the boot restitched with Chalk stitching to match my interior deviated stitching? I sent you a text but I’m not sure I have your correct cell number.

The part number for the GT4RS shifter in leather is 982-713-120-8YR Selector Lever Black

When I put mine in my 991.2 GT3, I swapped the boot out to one with Platinum Grey stitching. Quick easy swap that makes the interior look so much nicer, IMHO.

There is now a GT4RS shifter with the shift pattern in white, haven't been able to find that part number.

The 991and 718 parts are interchangeable.
