Cam Housing Rear Cork Gasket (and new lifters)

After installing them, when I started the car, they clicked and ticked like a sewing machine for about two seconds. Silence after that. I can hear my fuel injectors ticking now.

Not a 944 without lifter tick or belt whine.

Bumping this post to provide a tip to holding the lifters in place when installing the Cam Housing.
Dental Floss
I had trouble removing the Cam Housing, the Lifters extended and then locked around the valve springs. The back cover and hoist point jammed against the body, preventing me from moving the Cam Housing out of the way. Had to remove some of the lifter, and push the rest in to move it out of the way.
Knew that I needed a way to hold the lifters in place when I re-installed the housing. Tried making a thin metal plate to capture them, but some of the Lifters were extended out, and concerned that the plate might damage the new gasket. Thought about putting the Cam Housing in the freezer, to stiffen up the Oil, but didn’t think it would be cold enough to make a difference.
Don’t remember where I found the Dental Floss idea, but it seemed like a good idea. I originally thought to tie a loop for each lifter, but I realized it would be simpler to wrap it around.
It worked great, Cam Housing went on in seconds. Once I found the two pins, quickly put the bolts in. Got each bolt started, and slightly moved the Cam Housing down, then just pulled out the Dental floss. Very easy to track that I got all the pieces.
Now onto setting up the Belts.
