Turning signals

I have a 1999, 996 drop top. My left turning signal works when I hold the lever slightly down like you are changing lanes but if you push the lever all the way down for turning it does not work. Right side is fine. Do I need to replace the lever or the insides of the column.

You probably just need a new turn signal stalk. Shop carefully though, there are a lot of variations... A dealer can likely give you the correct part number with your VIN...
