Ride height
My online research has shown me that apparently there is a range of opinions regarding ride height after going through the factory and Haynes method of determining ride height, most people seem to think that the recommended 90mm is too high. After installing new suspension bushings and strut inserts (Koni adjustables), I got under the car and determined that the passenger side of my car was sitting at 83mm. I opted to adjust the drivers side to match it. I then adjusted to toe and took it out for a thorough test drive yesterday. It ride comfortably and looks good as well.
Of course, now it is apparent that the rear shocks are shot as well. The Koni adjustables are set at full soft. Given the price difference, I might opt for the Bilsteins for the rear.

I went back and looked at the photo of your 914 that you posted last year. That's a fine looking 914.
