Shifter Play- too much side to side action

Just like the title says, I am trying to reduce the side to side play. I have already replaced the shifter linkage and put in a short shifter from Only 944. I also did the shifter modification from another forum, and I also replaced the ball cup bushing at the base of the lever.

What am I missing?

I have a video but I don’t know how to attach it.

I figured out what the problem was! Loose bolts on the short shifter. Now this becomes a PSA for others… :D
