Feather Key Removal
Thank for the tips, Im in the same as you have been earlier. Got a 944 and the feather key is stuck. Have used som rounder with wd40 and using heat for 2 days now but the Im not able to move the key. I have bought a knipex tool. But ended up with a rounded key on the one side. I have ordered a new key, since I realize that Im not able to save the old one. Shall I keep using wd40 and heat og start drilling it out ?

I would say it’s your call, but if you do decide to drill it out - don’t use a self tapping screw like I did… use a small drill bit and just barley drill down into it. Then try to thread some kind of a small screw in there. Good luck ! Keep in mind the feather key itself is, if I had to guess, less than an eighth of an inch thick.
