I thought this may be of interest. They are the parts I used to align my Cayman.
In addition to the 3d printed parts, I used a metric scale, angle finder from a big box store, some string, some 3/4" conduit, and some o-rings to keep the fixtures in the wheel centers.
The wheel inserts for the scale were very helpful in squaring up the string and ensuring that it passes through the centerline of the wheels.
I hope it helps.

Very Nice! I've been using a different DIY method, but yours is simple and easy. Thanks for sharing!
Can you share the turntable bearing you used in the front? Looks like a bearing between the second and third block to make a "turn plate". Am I wrong?

A stout fishing line rather than string is a quicker visual reference. Just a suggestion.
