Hi, I have just had my 91 944s2 fail its WOF due to excess play in the ball joints, I see that kits are available, can anyone recommend a good quality product ? as i read that these are prone to failure. Also are these available already made up ? Thanks

I had to look that one up - I had never heard of WOF . Turns out it's a New Zealand auto inspection requirement - "Warrant of Fitness".SpyderSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:00 pm Hi, I have just had my 91 944s2 fail its WOF due to excess play in the ball joints, I see that kits are available, can anyone recommend a good quality product ? as i read that these are prone to failure. Welcome to Carpokes! Rennbay offers a rebuild kit, which I believe was the original and best kit. I believe they are quite reliable for street driving. If you do a lot of track events, however, it might be better to spring for brand new a-arms...
