Masking tip—for clean, sharp edges, don't use normal masking tape there. Use 3M Fine Line vinyl trim masking tape. Very flexible and slightly stretchy to conform to sharp curves. Used to be dark blue, not sure what it is now. Probably not available other than at auto paint supply shops or Amazon. Then cover the rest with normal tape.
