I have an Eastwood 30/60 Scroll Compressor. On the early versions, the air intake filter housing is attached via a coupler that screws into the intake pipe and holds a long stud. The long stud levers on the plastic fitting and makes it easy to break. When you call Eastwood to get a replacement, they sell you an updated housing with a clip-on lid and no stud, presumably because the original design was so vulnerable to breaking. (They've updated a number of parts on this compressor since the original launch!)
So, after breaking my mount, I ended up making a 3D-printed version and thought I'd share in case useful for someone down the road. It uses a section of M5 threaded rod with a nylock nut loctited to the bottom. You can't see in the pictures, but the part has a recess for the nut so the rod cannot pull out. Happy to say, it is all working like a champ. Printed in ABS on a Bambu Lab X1C with .08mm layer height (no support on the threads to keep them clean).
Here's the original, broken mount.
Here's the model for the 3D replacement.
Here's the 3D-printed part installed showing how it works with the housing.
And all buttoned up as good as new.
