Taycan vs Panamera

So, new member here. Owned a 2013 Panamera GTS for 7 years and loved it. Traded for a'23 Taycan 4S. Now, 14 months into the new car. Love driving the Taycan but also loved driving the Panamera. I miss the Panamera, the visceral V8 growl and the less digital controls. The '24 Panamera hybrid seems to tick all the boxes for me. I drive 75% of my miles within the hybrid range, needing the ICE feature only for longer trips. Given the pathetic US charging infrastructure, I'm thinking I made a mistake, a $40K mistake. Any thoughts on '24 Panamera hybrid vs Taycan 4S and pure EV vs Hybrid? No need to tell me about the steep depreciation curve of a Porsche. Well aware of that!

I have a Panamera ST Turbo which I bought new in 2018- love it!

. I am well aware of depreciation and was when I bought it.

I have driven most models of the Taycan and admire its capability without feeling any connection. There is no right answer here except what is right for you personally. If most of my trips were short distances I would do EV. If very long trips I would opt for the Pana.

Agree that no real right or wrong answer except to go with what you think works best for you and your needs.

For me, I'll always prefer ICE because it's what I like. If I had to choose between hybrid or EV, I'd choose hybrid if for nothing else than the peace of mind knowing I still have an gas engine. I guess the hybrid downside is the increased complexity and reliance on electronics but that's ubiquitous with everything now, right?
