I've been trying to sort out which Mode Dial is in the Macan and 'think' I discovered that the Macan previously had the older and bigger 991/718 Style knob that has the letters O S S+ and I for the modes; and that somewhere along the line (maybe MY '22) the Macan revised its interior to include the later style found in the 993 and Taycan. If you have a Macan with a mode dial, can you take a look and report here what year your car is and whether it has the early or later style? Pictures below are of the two styles for reference. Thanks!

I have a 2023 incoming and it has the first type with Drive Mode on it. I expected this as it is new.

Same. Our new ‘23 has the first / newer style drive mode selector.

My 2023 Macan GTS has the upper picture. Drive Selector says Drive Mode. My 2018 Macan S and my 2021 Macan GTS had the selector in the lower picture with O, S, S+ and I

Thank you for confirming that! Seems pretty clear Porsche switched over to the new DRIVE MODE style as part of the '22 interior update. I was scratching my head over my mode dial covers for the Macan since some people needed the big one and others insisted it was the small one.... Now I know why!! Thanks all.

Our '22 S has the top picture; just labeled "Drive Mode." Build was summer 2022, if that helps with data points.

Yes, thanks, that lines up with my understanding about Porsche switching over for the 22MY. Thanks!

Our 2020 Macan S has neither of the " Drive Mode" buttons, so I guess my wife and I will have to skip getting one, but.........................we did order a really cool one from Tom that matches the Chalk color of our 24 Cayman GTS.

Cool looking dress up option and it was interesting that the Manager at our local Porsche Store ( in Omaha ) noticed it when looking over our interior. He had been on vacation when our car came in and he took and interest in viewing our new Porsche. I ordered another for my son, in red , for his Cayenne Hybrid.
