Sorry for not responding sooner @johnb. I'm glad you are enjoying the car so far
A bit more steering wheel adjustment would have been nice.
I only use normal mode to get the oil temps up, usually I drive in sport+ manual. Sport will work for auto mode, you just have to remember to shift into 6th on the highway(sport and sport+ automode down shifts are amazing) for normal mode I have found using the revs to 2500rpms will make the car drop a gear, any higher and the car takes off. (ECU and PDK tune fixed all this for me)
Have you found the tire compressor for the spare tire? Lol. It took me a month to find it.
Used Macan S vs Turbo
Lol I already give up! I assumed it just didn't come with one. Where is it?kapetajr wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 10:33 am Sorry for not responding sooner @johnb. I'm glad you are enjoying the car so far

I do have one more nit-pick with the Macan though: the blower has to work really hard to cool the car. It's super loud. Is yours like that? It does work well once it gets going. It just kind of ruins what is otherwise a very quiet car.

. It's in a good spot. Left side of the cargo area. Below the cargo light.
Stick your hand in there and pull down. I'm pointing at it unwrap the velcro
A/C is loud. But try this at the screen with temp gauges. Click the right thumb wheel go to settings> air conditioning > air flow. Change it from normal to strong and see if that helps.

Does the Macan let you turn on/off certain vents. My 992 air is way (way) louder when I open the top dash vent via the PCM. When I take it in for servicing and always get a Macan loaner, and I can't say I ever noticed the a/c being unusually loud....?
Good question. You certainly have the 3 basic vent controls that all cars have (top, middle, bottom). But I generally leave it on auto mode. It might be worth trying it with dash vents only and see if that's any better. It's also possible that my AC is just a bit weak so the fan has to blow harder. I should probably get a thermometer and check the vents.

Not that I have seen or found.
The only other thing I would recommend is coding the "Centre Vent cooler" option to the PCM. With this on the vents around the PCM actual get cold now.

Gents, I’ve owned a ‘14 Cayman S and currently own a ‘13 911S, ‘14 Panamera4 and ‘21 Macan Turbo. Obviously I’m a huge fan of the brand, but one thing consistent with all of them is the mediocre A/C systems. The system in every Japanese car I owned in the past was both colder and quieter. It is a bit annoying.
